C. Ethan Slaughter, DBA

Ethan Slaughter is the Controller at Christenson Transportation located in Strafford, Missouri. He holds an MBA from Missouri State University and is pursuing a doctorate in business administration from Indiana Wesleyan University. Mr. Slaughter’s doctoral research focuses on the labor economy of long-haul truck drivers. Additional research interests include classical economics, behavioral economics, leadership theory, and organizational psychology. He and his wife Cassie live in Springfield, Missouri, and enjoy traveling, especially internationally. Mr. Slaughter’s leadership philosophy is shaped by ideas such as virtuous leadership, emotional intelligence, and behavioral and relationship leadership theories.
