About This Author

Dr. Susan Elliott, PhD, RN, Professor and Nurse Practitioner-Retired.

In her doctoral research, Dr. Elliott identified over 200 registered nurses appointed by the Church of the Nazarene to global missionary service. In addition to faculty and leadership service in secular and Christian universities, Dr. Elliott has also volunteered as a healthcare provider, educator, researcher, consultant, and speaker on 6 continents. She now lives in Oceanside, California USA, and serves as the Nazarene Missions International president at the Vista Hope Church of the Nazarene. Her life verse is Matthew 5:16.
