Christian

We are a Christian people, united with all true believers in proclaiming Jesus Christ as Lord. We believe that in divine love, God offers to all people forgiveness of sins and restored relationship with Him through the shed blood of His only son, Jesus. In being reconciled to God, we believe that we are also to be reconciled to one another, loving each other as we have been loved by God, forgiving each other as we have been forgiven by God. Born in the Wesleyan- Holiness tradition, we affirm the historic creeds and beliefs of the Christian faith and the Holy Bible as the source of spiritual truth.

Holiness

We are a holiness people, called by Scripture and drawn by grace to worship God and to love Him with our whole heart, soul, mind, and strength, and our neighbours as ourselves. We believe that in response to our faith, the Holy Spirit begins to transform and empower us day by day to be a people of love and spiritual discipline, ethical and moral purity, compassion and justice. It is the work of the Holy Spirit that restores us in the image of God and produces in us the character of Christ.

Holiness in the life of believers is most clearly understood as Christ-likeness.

Mission

We are a people with a mission to make Christ-like disciples, going into all the world. Our mission begins as we gather together for worship and then moves outward into the world.

Our mission is to receive new believers into the fellowship and to start new worshipping congregations. Our mission is to share God's love for the lost and His compassion for the poor and broken by helping to meet the real needs of hurting people. We are committed to inviting people to faith, to caring for those in need and to include in our fellowship all who will call upon the name of the Lord.

We are committed to train and educate so that men and women will be equipped as Christian leaders to accomplish the service God calls us to.

NMI -Through Nazarene Missions International, the Church of the Nazarene is committed to taking the Gospel of Jesus to the whole world. Currently in 146 countries, the Church of the Nazarene came to Fiji in 1996.
NYI -Through Nazarene Youth International, The Church of the Nazarene is committed to meeting the spiritual needs of Fiji's young people. There are plenty of opportunities for involvement through music, sports, fellowship and Bible studies.
NMM -Through Nazarene Maritime Ministries, the Church of the Nazarene's commitment goes beyond the shores, reaching the most remote islands and villages.
